Hello, my name is Tetsuro Honda, and I am delighted to welcome you to our clinic's website. As the director at Honda Internal Medicine and Endoscopy Clinic, I am dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to our patients.

I have about 20 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. I obtained my medical degree from Jichi Medical University and completed my residency training at National Hospital Organization Nagasaki Medical Center. Throughout my career, I have worked diligently to stay updated with the latest advancements in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology and Endoscopic therapy and ensure the highest quality of care for my patients.

Our clinic provides comprehensive general internal medicine care, and specializes in gastrointestinal diseases including inflammatory bowel disease and endoscopy. In addition, we also provide health checks, cancer screening and vaccinations. Our clinic is equipped with X-ray machines, CT scanners, and ultrasound devices, enabling us to provide immediate results for blood tests. We also offer COVID-19 antigen testing and influenza testing.

You have the option to undergo various types of endoscopic examinations, including:

1. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy: This procedure allows for the examination of the upper part of the digestive system, including the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum.
2. Colonoscopy: It involves the examination of the large intestine (colon and rectum) to detect abnormalities, such as polyps or tumors.
3. Endoscopic ultrasound: This is a specialized examination used for detailed imaging of the pancreas and surrounding structures, providing a high-resolution assessment of abnormalities.
4. Capsule endoscopy: It involves swallowing a small capsule equipped with a camera to capture images as it passes through the digestive tract, allowing for visualization of the small intestine.

These endoscopic examinations provide valuable diagnostic information and enable healthcare professionals to evaluate and detect various gastrointestinal conditions.

Notes

At our clinic, we provide medical care for patients with fever. If you develop a high fever (over 38℃) within a few days, not just on the same day, please make sure to notify us in advance by phone. Additionally, if someone close to you has tested positive for COVID-19 or influenza, please also inform us in advance by phone. We will schedule your visit time over the phone, so please come for your appointment during that designated time slot.
Please note that the appointment time may vary depending on the availability of same-day reservations, and we appreciate your understanding.
We have patients with various underlying conditions at our clinic. Until your scheduled appointment time, please refrain from visiting the clinic as you won't be able to wait inside the facility.

Insurance card is required for diagnosis and treatment.
Foreign languages other than English are not available.
The cost for creating an English medical certificate is 11,000 yen.
